We are a small group of passionate Indonesian divers, live in Gili Trawangan, Lombok and been in this industry for more than xx years…do you really need to know?
We are the first dive centre on Gili Island that fund and run by 100% local people. We only dive with maximum 10 people on the boat, thats include the captain, the crew and the divemaster :). That includes rules for a maximum 4 people for 1 divemaster, or you might request if you want to go with your favorite divemaster. We can sit and talk about it :)
We have been working at live-aboard vessels, 7-star dive centers and dive resorts around Indonesia’s best waters (e.g Bali and Komodo). Each one of us are good on at least four languages : indonesian, english, sign and body…
All of us hold Divemaster and Instructor rating from those PADI agencies, with a combined certifications exceeding ten thousand cards… (the ten..that’s a lie).
But that’s not what we are going to babble about…maybe your buddy knows about us already…
We simply gathered together because we share the same vision about what quality recreational diving is all about….
Scuba diving trip is about fulfilling both recreational and educational needs (a few wants to fulfil their need for booze as well)….we’re in that too!
No mickey-mouse-divemasters who was forced-groomed by dive center owner to dive with guests and know nothing about diving theory, sneak out and hiding from you during surface intervals.. :D And no tourist-visa-divemasters guiding you to dive sites they have no clues about..
we sit with you anytime we are fit to do so… at surface intervals, dinners, or beer time, we chat with you about anything anyone…we stand the small hours :)
some of us are amongst the best macro-spotters who have been guiding for the internationally-recognized marine institutes, TV programs, marine biologists, scientist and professional photographers … not to forget those diving-machos with top-of-the-line gear but dive like their own bubbles, yea we handle them really good…
READ THIS : if you’re an open water certified diver with less than 10 logged dives, think Halik is boring already, screaming to dive Shark Point, push the dive guide to take you to 5 atm of seawater, complaining the briefing that states a maximum bottom time of 60 minutes (while in reality you suck your air out after 30-minutes), don’t know what decompression dive is, don’t know how to read the ceiling time on your dive comp, claiming dive center X or DM MickeyMouse throws the cheapest price and always fulfil your demand … let us change that attitude and become a better-responsible-diver.
Persisting to keep that macho attitude of yours, we’re simply not the right one for you. Get a submarine!
a 90-minute dive? a 40-meter descent? Please do if you’re qualified…. But bear in mind, we’ll be watching you, and your dive computer…no compromise on diving safety, we want to live long…
we do everything safely, we have EmOx on the boat with us, we have water on boat for you too.. so don’t worry about anything, you are in very good hands :)
We bring our cameras wet underwater during our own leisure time…with the dedicated housings that is. We conduct underwater photography workshop once awhile… and it may start with one guestbuddy only… :) Topside photographers, you may know all the terms and mambo-jambo-photo-techniques, but underwater you might need us to share the tips and tricks.
Until this point, you might’ve decided already whether to dive with us or to ignore us completely… Don’t worry about the prices, we want to share our underwater world with you, so we have decided that diving should be fun, and reachable for your pocket also :)
